Confirmed Accurate

• Aiden is a real open-source, local-first AI assistant that can run on your own machine.
• It supports local inference through Ollama and can also connect to multiple LLM providers.
• Aiden includes built-in tools for tasks such as screen interaction, web browsing, code execution, and email automation.
• The project is designed with privacy in mind, storing files, memory, and tools locally with no required account or telemetry.

Not Fully Accurate / Outdated

• The post claims 1,500+ skills, 89+ tools, and 14+ LLM providers. Current project documentation lists 68 bundled skills, 42 built-in tools, and 19 providers, so these numbers are outdated or refer to a different version.
• The claim that it runs "100% offline" is only true when using local models (such as Ollama). If configured with cloud providers, requests are sent to those services.
• The statement "No API bill" applies only when using local models. Using commercial APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) will still incur provider charges.
