Where are you currently working and what is it that you do there?
I'm a Software Dev Engineer II at AWS in Seattle, working on agentic AI systems. I build the tooling and infrastructure that lets Amazon builders leverage agents like Claude, Codex, and Kiro directly in their development workflows, and I architect the MCP integration layer that connects clients to MCP servers for seamless agent-to-tool communication. It's fast-moving, cutting-edge work at the heart of the AI ecosystem.
What does your typical day-to-day look like?
I spend my days building infrastructure that connects intelligent systems — developing MCP servers and gateway solutions, and designing the integration layer that lets AI clients and services talk to each other reliably at scale. Earlier I built a service that performed high-scale code transformations and benchmarked them. Across all of it, clean and efficient code is essential, because the systems I build have to be robust, scalable, and easy for other engineers to integrate with.
Can you tell us a bit more about your education and career up to this point? How did you get where you are?
I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science from India and a Master's in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University. My career started with software engineering roles at HCL and a few internships, and led me to Amazon and then AWS, where I've grown into building agentic AI infrastructure. Throughout, strong programming fundamentals — especially in Python — have been the backbone of everything. Making sure that foundation was rock-solid was important to me, which is what drew me to Kactii Academy.
What was it that led you to study at Kactii Academy?

What was the most challenging part of the learning experience?
Learning to write code that's not just correct but clean, efficient, and maintainable. Anyone can make something work; structuring it well so it scales and others can build on it is harder. The bootcamp really pushed me on that discipline, and it's proven invaluable in the systems work I do today.
